Create a free account to get your own referral link and code. Share them on social media, videos, your website or directly with a buyer. Buyers who open your link have your code filled in for them, or they can type it when they sign up.
Container Trader contacts the buyer, quotes the container and delivery, takes payment and schedules the truck.
Once a container from Container Trader stock is delivered to a buyer who used your link or code, you earn $150 for that container, paid one time. A three-container order earns $450.

Point an equipment dealer, lumber yard, farm store or other established business to our Become a dealer or Sell on Container Trader page.
Ask them to enter your name and email in the “Referred by” field on their Verified Seller, Dealer Growth or Dealer Pro application.
You earn 20% of their setup fee and of each monthly plan payment in their first 90 days while their plan stays active. Dealer Pro members can also buy Container Trader stock, so you earn $150 per container they buy in that time.

No. It’s free to get your referral link and code, and there are no fees to refer buyers.
You earn $150 for every container from Container Trader stock delivered to a buyer who used your link or code. If a buyer orders more than one container, you earn $150 for each container delivered. The $150 is paid one time per container.
Any purchase of containers from Container Trader stock made within 90 days after the buyer or dealer uses your referral link. If the buyer or dealer buys from another dealer, or takes the deal off the Container Trader platform, no commission is paid.
Yes. Every partner gets a referral code along with their link. Buyers and dealers can type it in the Referral code box when they create their Container Trader account. If they came from your link, the code is filled in for them.
Container commissions are paid net 30 days after the delivery is completed.
The last referral link the buyer or dealer used before purchasing gets the commission.
Yes. When a business you refer signs up for Verified Seller, Dealer Growth or Dealer Pro, you earn 20% of their setup fee and 20% of each monthly plan payment they make in their first 90 days. If they choose Dealer Pro, the only plan that can buy Container Trader stock, you also earn $150 per container they buy from our stock in their first 90 days. They need to enter your name and email in the “Referred by” field when they apply.
You earn 20% only on payments the dealer makes while their plan is active. If they cancel within the first 90 days, their payments stop, and so do your earnings from them.
No. Once a buyer signs up with your link or code, Container Trader quotes, sells and delivers the container. You don’t hold stock or take payment.
Get your referral link and code, then send the link to the buyer or give them your code. When they create their Container Trader account with your link or code, the referral is credited to you automatically. You can see your referrals on your referral dashboard.
Yes. Let the buyer know you’re sending them to Container Trader and ask them to sign up with your link or code so the referral is credited to you.
If you have a physical business location and want to sell containers under your own name, a dealer plan is the better fit. The referral program is for people who would rather send us the buyer.
